Norfolk has a nice airport. The airport is close to the Interstate. There is a brand new mall downtown.
The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is free, but some parts are not.
The Chrysler Museum of Art is pretty cool. It is not free, of course.
The Zoo in Norfolk has been renovated, and the new Africa exhibit is definately worth a look.
A must see is the USS Wisconsin which is anchored in Norfolk. Stop by the Nauticus Maritime Center. To go on the ship is free, but you have to pay for the rest of the museum.
